Clinic Staff Coach

Dallas, TX based

Location: Requires travel 3-5 days per week (could be anywhere in the US)

Specifically, our Clinic Staff Coach is directly responsible for the coaching and mentorship of a group of Health Technicians and Team Leads working across the nation.

 

To succeed, the Clinic Staff Coach is expected to travel approximately 60%–70%, often requiring multiple overnight trips, and up to 100% travel during peak seasons. When overnight travel is not required, the team member will work in our Dallas, TX office (Addison area).

 

How you will make an impact:

  • Reporting to our Sr. Manager of Onsite Clinics, embrace and share our customer-centric mindset through daily interactions with team members and patients.
  • Communicate company performance standards and motivate Health Technicians and Team Leads to meet or exceed expectations. Provide guidance and coaching to team members, and ensure accountability by addressing any situations where standards are not met or protocols are not followed.
  • Maintain an active roster of team members in the assigned region.
  • Communicate changes, feedback, and reminders—both in person and electronically—in a way that supports team members and their performance goals.
  • Perform the function of a Team Lead for onsite clinics 3–5 days per week.
  • Observe team members onsite and via electronic interaction; complete documented site visits and competency assessments; provide feedback and coaching.
  • Assist the Operations Planning Team with short-notice schedule changes.
  • Lead training classes for new hire Health Technicians and Team Leads.
  • Partner closely with HR and the Sr. Manager of Onsite Clinics to ensure consistent and equitable policy enforcement and adherence to programs/processes.
  • Deliver corrective actions and performance improvement plans in a timely manner, in partnership with the Sr. Manager of Onsite Clinics.
  • Assist with payroll approvals and personnel paperwork as needed.
  • Interview Health Technician and Team Lead candidates; provide interview feedback and notes to HR and the Sr. Manager of Onsite Clinics.
  • Ensure team exceeds performance standards in Health Technician and Team Lead roles, leading by example.

What you need to be successful:

  • Natural ability to see from different perspectives and balance the business and human aspects of situations

  • 3+ years of experience working in team-based wellness clinics, as a traveling phlebotomist, or in similar roles

  • 1+ year of experience managing a remote workforce in healthcare (preferred)

  • Demonstrated leadership experience serving as a Team Lead or Supervisor, including coaching, mentorship, and guiding team members toward professional growth

  • Experience leading classroom-style training programs (highly preferred)

  • Self-motivated and disciplined

  • Superior organizational skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving capability

  • Naturally approachable and level-headed in stressful situations

  • Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Ability to work with confidential information with the utmost discretion.



Additional Requirements:

  • Must be available to travel up to 100% of the time during peak seasons and 60%–70% during most other weeks. Travel may require consecutive overnight stays.

  • Must be able to lift, twist, stand, sit, bend, squat, and reach for 8+ hours during clinics and training sessions.

  • Must regularly lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds for clinic setup/takedown, supply restocking, and maintaining tech connectivity.

  • Reliable transportation is required for local clinics (within a 100-mile radius of the Catapult Health office). A clean driving record is needed to operate fleet vehicles and rent vehicles under company programs.

  • Must be 21+ years of age to rent cars under company programs and eligible with all major rental agencies.

  • Must have current and continuous vehicle insurance at or above the state’s required level where licensed.
