Clinic Staff Coach

Dallas, TX based

Location: Requires travel 3-5 days per week (could be anywhere in the US)

 

Catapult Health is in the business of empowering individuals to improve their health.  We do this through next generation worksite and home kit preventive health checkups. Everyone on our team plays a critical part in delivering upon our mission. To be specific, our Clinic Staff Coach is directly responsible for the coaching and mentorship of a group of Health Technicians and Team Leads working across the nation. In order to succeed, the Clinic Staff Coach is expected to travel upwards of 60% - 70%, often requiring multiple overnight trips, and 100% travel durin gour peak seasons. When the role does not require overnight travel, the team member will work in our Dallas, TX office (Addison area).

 

How you will make an impact:

  • Reporting to our Sr. Manager of Onsite Clinics, embrace and share our customer centric mindset through daily interactions with our team members and patients.
  • Communicate the company standards for performance and motivate Health Technician’s & Team Lead’s to meet and exceed these established standards. Provide guidance and coaching to team members, and ensure accountability by addressing any situations where standards are not being met or protocols are not being followed.
  • Maintain active roster of team members in assigned region.
  • Communicate changes, feedback and reminders in person and electronically in a way that supports the team members and their future performance objectives.
  • Perform the function of a Team Lead for onsite clinics betwwen 3-5 days per week.
  • Observe team members onsite and through electronic interaction, complete documented site visits and competency assessments, and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
  • Assist Operations Planning Team with short notice schedule changes.
  • Lead new hire Health Technician and Team Lead training classes.
  • Partner closely with HR and Sr. Manager Onsite Clinics to ensure consistent and equitable policy enforcement and program/process adherence.
  • Deliver corrective action and provide performance improvement plans in a timely manner, in partnership with Sr. Manager of Onsite Clinics.
  • Assist with payroll approvals and personnel paperwork, as needed.
  • Interview Health Technician & Team Lead candidates; provide interview feedback and notes to HR and Sr. Manager Onsite Clinics.
  • Ensure team is exceeding performance standards in the Team Lead and Health Technician roles, leading by example. 

What you need to be successful:

  • Natural ability to see from different perspectives and balance the business and people side of the situation.
  • 3+ years of experience working in team-based wellness clinics, as a traveling phlebotomist or in similar roles
  • 1+ year of experience managing a remote workforce in healthcare, preferred
  • Demonstrated experience serving as a Team Lead or Supervisor, including providing coaching, mentorship, and guidance to team members to support their professional growth and ensure team success.
  • Experience leading classroom style training programs, highly preferred.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Products (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be available to travel between up to 100% of the time during peak seasons.  This position should also expect to travel 60%-70% of the time during most weeks of the year.  Many of the travel obligations will require back to back overnight stays.
  • In order to administer clinics, handle day-today work tasks and lead training sessions, you will be asked to lift, twist, stand, sit, bend, squat, and reach for 8+ hours consistently throughout the day.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40 pounds regularly to assist with set-up and take down of clinic as well as refreshing supplies and maintaining technology connectivity throughout the day.
  • Requires reliable transportation for local clinics (those within a 100-mile radius of the Catapult Health office) and a clean driving record to operate our fleet vehicles and be eligible to rent a car on our corporate programs.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older, to be able to be assigned a rental car under our company program. Also, must be eligible to rent a car through all major care rental agencies.
  • Must have current and continued vehicle insurance at or above the level required for state in which the team member is licensed.
