Overview:

Location: Lewisville, TX We are moving our warehouse location from Richardson, TX to Lewisville, TX – so there will be movement between Lewisville and Richardson required (potentially daily) through the end of August/September).

Overview

The Supply Chain Manager is a HANDS-ON player/coach that ensures the seamless flow of all supplies and equipment to support onsite clinic operations. This role is directly responsible for all aspects of the supply chain process, from procurement and inventory management to distribution and team management. The position manages two Supply Chain / Logistics Specialist positions.

 

 

How you will make an impact:

  • Forecasting, planning, allocation, and management of clinical supplies and equipment.
  • Serve as a primary escalation point of contact for clinic onsite clients and Catapult team members to ensure clinics receive all equipment and supplies needed in working order, prior to the clinic date and time.
  • Responsible for managing and/or assigning supply chain and logistical escalation issues and tasks and following these situations through to resolution.
  • Purchase raw materials and supplies from Catapult’s vendors and conduct regular inventory to ensure ample supplies and equipment are available for shipment and use of the team.
  • Perform month end inventory, reporting final counts to Finance.
  • Ensure that written Standard Operating Procedures are in place to support best practices for the team and that they are consistently applied. Partner with SVP People Operations to update documentation, when gaps or errors are identified.
  • Ensure 100% compliance related to all equipment and supply storage and shipment, including but not limited to: cold-chain and dry good storage protocols, OSHA, unique and standard state disc/test and supply requirements, equipment control protocols, etc.
  • Research, evaluate and make recommendations for equipment and supply purchases and updates, working with senior leadership to gain approval for changes as needed, before deploying in the field.
  • Ensure company vans are registered annually (or otherwise, as required), receive regular vehicle maintenance and coordinate repairs, as required, with vendors to maintain a safe and well-maintained fleet of vehicles.
  • Manage vendor relationships to oversee facilitation of equipment repair and replacement, as needed.
  • Assist by auditing some outgoing orders matching the items and quantity going out, oversee supply and equipment replacement and supplemental shipments.
  • Oversee and optimize shipment returns processing to evaluate spend, taking into consideration the total spend (replacement cost and resource time required to track, quantify and restock).
  • Monitor shipments for clinics and those with cold-chain requirements to ensure timely delivery.  Coordinate with shipping vendor for escalations, as needed. Work with courier when expedited shipments are required to support the business.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring the quality of incoming equipment and supplies, and coordinate with vendors/suppliers on quality issues.
  • Oversee new kit builds, as needed, to support future scheduled clinics.
  • Communicate with Scheduling Team to ensure shipments are aligned with clinic and travel schedules.
  • Utilize data stored in CRM tool (currently Salesforce), to plan for clinic needs and shipment reporting.
  • Oversee warehouse operations including regular maintenance and facilities management in the supply chain office and locations where team members pick up and drop off equipment.
  • Lead, mentor, train and coach a team of Supply Chain Specialists, ensuring an efficient, positive and productive work environment and strategically determine the team schedule each week based on business needs.
  • Cross train all members of the team.
  • Coordinate and schedule an available Supply Chain team member Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, at a minimum.
  • Local and national travel, as needed.
  • Be available to answer escalation questions or concerns before, during and after work hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Be amenable to managing and performing other duties, as required, in support of Catapult’s current and future business requirements.

 

What you need to be successful:

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or similar field, or equivalent and relevant experience in a related field, required.

  • Minimum 4 year’s experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or other related field.

  • 1+ year experience managing a logistics or supply chain team.

  • For insurability and travel reasons, must possess a valid state driver’s license, have and maintain a clear driving history and be at least 21 years of age (due to driving company vans or traveling with company equipment in personal vehicles).

  • Strong skill set in identifying and implementing operational efficiencies.

  • Ability to gather data from multiple sources and analyze effectively to support projections for planning, allocation, delivery and operational processes.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Microsoft Excel.

  • Experience working in systems such as: Salesforce, MS Office and GoogleDocs.

  • Exhibit strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Exerting 30-60 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20-50 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to  50 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Regularly required to speak, listen, type, stand, walk, sit, reach, lift and carry.
  • Strong ability to communicate verbally and electronically.
  • Ability to utilize a pallet jack.
  • Willingness to become forklift certified, if required.
