Title: VP of Clinical Operations

Location: Dallas, TX (In Office)

 

Catapult Health’s VP of Clinical Services is a fulltime salaried Team Member who leads our Field, Licensing, and Clinical Teams (of 100+ team members) in delivering the most cutting edge preventive health checkup option for patients using a 100% virtual platform for result delivery, across the US.  In this role, the chosen candidate is responsible for assisting with planning, organizing and directing the overall operations of our Nurse Practitioner services setting a high standard as it relates to exceptional patient experience and compliance with patient care quality standards in the care provided.  Reporting to our President and COO, the VP of Clinical Services is a member of our Leadership Team. 

 

How you will make an impact:

  • Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
  • Knows and practices the prescribed philosophy, purpose, policies, and standards of Nursing/Patient Care Services.
  • Manages Clinical Team, including Nurse Practitioner, Field, and Licensing Teams.
  • Works in close collaboration with all departments within the organization.
  • In partnership with Human Resources, the VP of Clinical Services, develops performance improvement activities within the department and participates in activities related to coaching and development of the Clinical Team Leaders.
  • Ensures Clinical Team meets or exceeds Clinical and Company KPIs.
  • Assist in maintaining continuing quality assessment and improvement analysis and strategy for improvements.
  • Maintains close coordination with all departments to ensure continuity and collaboration of services.
  • Participates in policy decisions that affect clinical delivery.
  • Obtains and maintains APRN licensing across the US.
  • Maintains other clinical credentials and competencies to be able to work clinically.
  • Conduct patient appointments and consultations, as needed and at least weekly to maintain working knowledge of systems and tools.
  • Oversee high risk patient follow-up process.

What you need to be successful:

  • Master’s degree in nursing, Doctorate preferred
  • Current Nurse Practitioner License in State of Texas
  • 10+ years of patient care experience in NP role, with proven healthcare leadership experience
  • Prefer fluency in English and Spanish, written and verbal
  • Skilled in communicating effectively with all levels of Team Members and Patients
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to determine appropriate course of action in complex situations
  • Ability to work independently, exercise creativity, be attentive to detail, and maintain a positive attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous responsibilities and to prioritize scheduling of work
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all medical, financial, and legal information
  • Ability to complete work assignments accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to handle difficult situations involving patients, Team Members, or others in a professional manner
