Overview:

Title: People Operations Assistant

Duration: Estimated 6-8 weeks

Location: Addison, TX (Onsite work required 5 days per week)

Our People Operations Assistant will work from our Dallas, TX (Addison area) corporate office.  Please note, this is not a remote

position.

 

The People Operations Assistant provides hands-on support for Operational Planning and Human Resources key projects, programs and events!  The People Operations Specialist works fulltime (on a temporary basis of approximately 6-8 weeks) from our Dallas, TX corporate office daily.

How you will make an impact:

  • Creates and distributes weekly Supply Chain and Team Lead Planning worksheets.
  • Monitors delayed shipments, escalating as needed to support Onsite Clinic activities. Works with the Operations Support team to file claims, as the shipments are eligible.
  • Assists with HR related tasks such as sending and submitting required confidential documentation, tracking progress of completion of tasks / documents, following up and escalating as needed.
  • Assists on HR projects related to the company’s recent acquisition.
  • Supports and provides reporting managing up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation with integrity and confidentiality.
  • Assists in planning and execution of meetings and special events.
  • Performs audits of files and records, as assigned.
  • Provides clerical support to the SVP, People Operations.
  • While normal office hours will be established, the ability to work after hours and on weekends from time to time may be required.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

 

What you need to be successful:

Minimum Requirements

  • 1+ year of work (or internship) experience in Human Resources or an Operations data analyst role.
  • Experience using disparate data sources, creating and manipulating spreadsheets using features such as pivot tables and x-lookups.
  • MS Office proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Resourceful and self-motivated to seek solutions for challenges; creative problem solving skills.
  • Extremely strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality understanding that much of the information accessed may include PHI and PII.

 

Physical Requirements

  • Sitting: Remaining in a seated position for extended periods, often at a desk or workstation.
  • Standing and walking: Alternating between standing and walking short distances, such as to access files or equipment.
  • Reaching and handling: Reaching above and below shoulder level, as well as grasping and handling documents and office equipment.
  • Fine motor skills: Performing repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers, particularly for computer use and operating standard office equipment.
  • Visual acuity: Clear vision to read source materials, computer screens, and perform tasks requiring close visual focus.
  • Communication: Speaking clearly and hearing adequately to communicate effectively in person and over the telephone.
  • Bending and stooping: Occasional bending, stooping, or kneeling to access low filing cabinets or retrieve items.
  • Pushing and pulling: Ability to push or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds, such as file drawers or office equipment.
  • Lifting and carrying: Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally, such as office supplies, paperwork, and files.
