Title: Senior Software Developer 

Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid work location Dallas / 2 days in office; 3 days remote)

As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of healthcare technology at Catapult Health. Your primary responsibility will be to architect, develop, and enhance software systems that power VirtualCheckup® and other critical business initiatives. Beyond development, you will take ownership
of software-related incidents and requests, ensuring timely resolution and proactively identifying long-term solutions to recurring challenges.

You will also have the opportunity to mentor and guide other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including operations and clinical
stakeholders—to ensure technology solutions align with business goals and drive meaningful impact.

Education, Experience and Specialized Knowledge and Skills

• 8+ years software development experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in developing and maintaining ReactJS and Node.js software.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or relevant experience.
• Knowledge and experience with technology and application development methodologies.
• Experienced in developing systems and platforms that integrate disparate data.

• Experience providing input to the architecture of software systems and implementation of the chosen architecture.
• Advanced level experience in developing applications JavaScript, Node.js, React and Redux.
• Advanced level Experience in developing RESTful services using Node.js.
• Experience in developing applications and services using databases such as Postgres, MySQL and MS SQL Server. Experience with MS SQL Server is preferred.
• Experience with object-oriented design, micro-services architecture, and federated architecture.
• Experience interfacing with 3rd party APIs, either utilizing REST Web Services (familiarity with JSON, XML, API routes, tokens, secrets, etc.)
• Experience in automating testing of applications and services using tools such as Jest and Selenium.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving functional issues, performance issues, security issues, etc.
• Experience in developing software that handles personal health information in compliance with HIPAA and other applicable regulations is a plus.
